Food Hygiene Training
Littlejohns Food and Safety Ltd is an Accredited Training Centre with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, Centre No.65519. CIEH Food hygiene training certificates provide evidence of compliance with Regulation 4(2) EC 852/2004 Annex II, Chapter VII (the food hygiene training requirement).
We can provide training anywhere in the UK but mainly operate in North Devon, North Cornwall, Somerset and Gloucestershire (Bideford, Barnstaple, Holsworthy, Ilfracombe, Bude, Taunton, Bristol, Cheltenham, Bath and Birmingham).
Our course tutors are experienced Environmental Health Officers with many years of local government enforcement experience.
The training is interactive, relaxed and friendly. We adapt the learning experience to individual needs with a blend of activities to keep you sat up and asking questions. We believe there is no substitute for face to face learning.

HACCP Risk Management

We undertake HACCP studies, process flow charts, risk scored hazard analysis and identification of critical controls using decision trees. We use a methodical approach to ensure the seven principles of HACCP are fulfilled in compliance with Regulation EC 852/2005 Article 5. We review your food safety policy and food hygiene prerequisite programmes (PRP's/OPRP's) linking these as an integral part of your HACCP Plan and referenced to legal compliance, industry guides and international standards. Working alongside staff promotes inclusion, empowerment and a safety first culture. My associates and I have done hundreds of local authority inspections and third party audits. For smaller food businesses with simpler processes, we can adapt generic HACCP plans linked to food safety procedures and prerequisite programmes. This could include a bespoke system working in harmony with the Food Standards Agency's Safer Food Better Business Pack for example.
